another tribal picture for an existing customer, this time a scorpion. it was quite a difficult piece this as it took me quite a while to get the shape of the animal right.
but in the end it was all good, he bled like there was no tomorrow but that will be the narcotics in his system. maybe next time he will remember to not have a smoke before he gets a tattoo xx

same picture just ones a little closer than the other, lol
this is another one of sharleens, these connect up around the wrist taking in the mum and dad that was already there.
the numbers are their dates of birth.
we had a little accident on the first one as i put a 2 instead of a 3 but we corrected it and its hardly visible.
sharleen is happy and although she was in a lot of pain this evening due to her back, the pain of the tattoo wasnt as bad as she thought it was going to be. lol

get rid of her!!!!

well as you can see this one started life as a couple of names, the guys girlfriend an son. unfortunately the family split aprt and he asked me to cover up his ex's name.
we came up with the idea of a pheonix.
for two reasons really, the first because a pheonix has the ability to rise again from the ashes, so from a broken relationship springs hope eternal and the second reason his sons fave harry potter film is the order of the pheonix.
if youll excuse the pun it killed two birds with the one stone.

so, it took a couple of hours but eventually it turned out quite well, though we did maybe consider putting L.F.C. over the top of it cause with the red in it, it looks somewhat like a liver bird.

unfortunately, hes got some scratches on his arm which prevented the tail being very long but once that clears up a little bit, well take the tail down a bit further and give the pheonix a little bit more elegence.

the simpsons

this is the start of a theme on a friend of ours he got homer drawn on a year or so ago but felt too sore to get it finished, then i started tattooing with david and we kind of bullied him into it.

so the bart is my handy work and so is maggie, who is wearing a baby bracelet on her head which is a little tribute to his son jack who hes not allowed to see at the moment.

i cant wait to get started on the rest of the characters its nice to have a theme that isnt depressing.

mini ninja

thanks to a little game on the ps3 and some pictures on some darts flights our son has fallen in love with the idea of being a ninja. so copied from the flights themselves this is davids latest addition xx

branded

this one is done in blue and white, the white is actually red in the photograph he bled quite a bit. it was hard going again because its not a little tattoo and not only that but chick is really bony so it was difficult to get the lines straight and accurate without causing him some discomfort.
hes been thinking about this tattoo for a couple of years now and finally he decided to get it as a fathers day gift from his kids.

what a marathon

tattoo number one was a hard slog it took nearly 2.5 hrs to complete, michael sat great though bless his soul it was a hard slog for him too.
michael is in the t.a. and isnt allowed tattoos that are visible to the general public so this one had to be sure to be lower than his collar so he doesnt get his knuckles rapped.
he spent the morning thinking and searching for his design because mum and brother had theirs done last night while he was elsewhere, i think the green eyed monster fuelled this tattoo and what a tattoo it is. he did say it hurt so much that if it needed touched up he wouldnt be coming back in a hurry to get done but i think hell stop hating me eventually.
this was a frienof the family mentionned above, really nice family again and sharon wanted a smooch on her boob with kiss my lips written underneath it. its the first boob ive tattooed and i think it turned out great. her man is wanting one tomorrow, hes getting "made in scotland" across the bottom of his back, hes booked in at one oclock.
business is booming folks, youll be sick to death of me before long.

a busy night too

customers that charlene rounded up for me this morning after i did her familys tattoos phoned up about half seven and asked if i would maybe be able to come round at 830 to do a couple. first was ryans name on his arm. it was the boys first tattoo so we were both quite nervous and again i had a little trouble getting the colour to cover properly but i didnt want to push my luck as he was starting to bleed a lot so i said id leave it now until it healed and then if it needed going over i would go back to do it for him. the two pictures below belong to ryans mum mary and its the name of her two children one on each foot. apparently mary has been building up the courage to get these done for about two years now but is already planning the follow up ones funny how addictive tattoos can be.

family ties

charlene strikes again haha i promised it would hurt on her foot bless her and she wasnt disappointed lol, she did want new moon written on the other foot too but i think that is now a bit of a no go bless her. thankfully though she washed her feet before i started.


another tribute to mum and dad bless her heart mum was there holding her hand. donna was nervous to start but i think that was due to all the folk sitting about her, her man, another david funnily enough, has given me an idea to fix up for him and will be getting his done next weekend i think. his will probably be my first big piece of work as he wants his initials down his spine with an angel either side, one from heaven and one from hell. its gonna look good once he finishes designing it, the guy is a very talented artist. plus hes a liverpool fan so we get on great lol.

hissssssss

well another one bites the dust tribal designs are a complete twat i really need to practice my block colouring so as to make sure i can do these in one hit. though in a sense im quite proud of this one because although its not quite finished i drew it freehand so its all my own work for a change.
its quite clever too as the tail wiggles whenever the guy bends his arm, a total accident but one that worked very well me thinks.
got one to do for david tomorrow hes getting jealous that hes got no new ones bless him and ive got a couple to draw up for next week.
busy busy busy, it would be great if i was getting paid lol

paws for thought

although its hard to make out from the picture these are four little paw prints with some coloured bubbles and some little stars. this was jackies new one and she sat wonderfully for it. she didnt even cry at all which she thought she would.
when it was finished she couldnt stop looking at it and now every time i see her she shows it to me and asks if i like her new tattoo.
her next one is a fairy sitting on the word survivor on her shoulder but she wont be able to get that for a while as the silly bugger got very badly burned in the sun the other day and is peeling in a very bad way so ill need to wait for her skin to heal up a bit first. poor jackie i hear you all say lol nope silly bugger jackie is my only comment.
