erm..............................................

this was a good day today two very large tattoos but good ones. the first was chris who as you can see is definately team jacob with a cute little wolfie in a tribal design, its not finished yet as there is still some colour to go into the tribal patterns but he was bleeding quite badly so we called it a day.
it strangely took quite a while to do but most of it was freehanded as the transfer washed off.
chris seemed quite pleased though hes a quiet guy so it was hard to tell. he was however muttering something about dragons between snores so maybe we will see more of him in the future.

this one was a pain in the proverbial......... i had a wee chat with stewart a few days back and drew up some ideas which he liked the look of, but, in the time it took for me to do chris' wolf stewart had been browsing the net and had totally changed his mind. lol.
originally it was just one lion with a flag and the word scotland, but now, as you can see, its two lions, the st andrews cross and scotland written underneath.
as time was short we only did the outline today and ill go back next week to colour it in.
i think he wants some large thistles either side of the design and maybe something else underneath eventually too. im really looking forward to colouring it in i hate leaving things half finished.

a couple of firsts

though the picture isnt very clear really this is a little bird holding a scroll with a name in it, i did try to suggest colour but leanne really wanted it left just simple black and to be honest i think it turned out quite well. there are a few wee lines that need touched up a little bit but she started to feel a little bit wobbly so we stopped rather than push our luck with it, i think if its ok we will do the touch up when the scab drops off. leanne didnt seem to put off by it though she is already planning her next one for monday.

this one was good fun to do my first ever tweetie pie and i have to say im very pleased with how it turned out, a tribute to mum obviously (who poked her finger into it the minute she saw it). a really sweet tattoo for a brilliantly brave customer who was very nervous to start with but sat through it no problem, i definately wish i had more customers like her. sarah also got her fiancees name on her wrist which apparently hurt more than the tweetie pie but i think she was kidding on a bit.

the mad one again

these were actually really nice to do, both quotes from her favourite series of films the twilight saga, but very pretty and meaningful words none the less. nobody need know shes really that sad after all lol. love you really charlene. these are placed one on each shoulder blade and if i remember rightly she went out and bought a new top specially to show them off.

they didnt take long either just ten minutes each which i was quite proud of and i think she likes them a lot.

there is a small design inbetween them of some butterflies which are a tribute for twins that charlene miscarried, its a lovely little design though ive no photo just yet i need to remember and take one when i see her on monday.

the heart and the triangle was already there and i just coloured it in when i added the design around the outside. funnily the name barry was to be covered up this time last week but seemingly hes back in the good books so his name will be around for a little while longer. best of luck with that one ............

dream catcher

this was a nice one to do a little dream catcher for a friend, the blue splodge on the left is a crescent moon with tribal patterns on its face.

it was really nice subject matter to draw and i really enjoyed it.
the strings on the catcher were done in blue ink without a black outline, it kind of looked a bit more delicate.

apparently too the guy has had no bad dreams since he got it so jobs a good'un

its a wullaf

this is my first attempt at a wolf and i dont think its too bad really though the photo doesnt really show that, we had to give it a quick wipe and then take the photo asap as it was bleeding quite badly.
the guy was meant to be coming back to get it finished off but i havent seen him for weeks so i guess its his lookout really x
